If you want to join us, we’ll be out again on Thursday 28th July to give the hedge on St Aelreds Mews a light trim, where some branches are overhanging the road. Meet along the hedge anytime from 10.00 am. Please bring secateurs and/or loppers, and wear suitable gloves and footwear. On Friday 29th July, St Nicks will be on site for their new monthly morning session on the last Friday of the month. So come along to St Aelreds meadow anytime from 10.00 am to start the seasonal cycle of scything, mowing and raking, and help to improve this grassland habitat. We’ll be joined by some volunteers from St Nicks. Again, wear suitable gloves and footwear – all other equipment will be provided by St Nicks. For both sessions, you can drop in for as long or as little time as you can spare, or just stop by to say hallo and find out more about what we’re up to. Everyone is welcome!
